Quality Control Specialist

Department: Sales
Location: Wausau, WI

Quality Control Specialist

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for the ongoing support, training, and success of the account manager staff within the Sales department. This includes helping develop and coach the staff on their ability to understand all AFI’s functional departments, train on our processes and procedures and understand reports to help drive the overall sales and performance of Aqua Finance.

Essential Functions

  • Audit, track, and report all dealer related materials which includes proper documentation in dealer screens and accurate dealer’s accounts in our software in a timely manner
  • Ensure dealer compliance with all state and federal license requirements
  • Route and track all incoming department e-mails/faxes/voicemails in a timely manner
  • Audit, track, and report department calls and escalate to management as needed
  • Review, track, and decision all Aquabuck inquiries and submissions from internal staff and other departments
  • Track problem trends to effectively communicate with management for problem resolution as necessary
  • Assist with Monthly Dealer Reporting and any other necessary reporting for Sales department
  • Assist with training of Sales employees and cross training employees of other departments
  • Must be able to effectively promote AFI’s products and services, written and verbally
  • Provide back up support to the Dealer Support Specialists
  • Other duties as assigned by Sales department leadership.
  • Maintain the companies Mission Vision and Values and ensure the department is striving to observe them as well.

Supervision Required: Immediate Supervision

  • The employee is given specific instruction regarding how assignments are to be completed and the sequence of work steps to be employed. Completed work projects are reviewed for accuracy, adequacy and adherence to instructions and established procedures.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associates degree is preferred
  • 1 year of customer service experience required
  • 1 year of quality control monitoring and or advanced reporting preferred
  • 6 months experience as a Dealer Support Specialist and/or equivalent industry experience is desired
  • Must be able to effectively train, coach, and communicate with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.
  • Must display leadership characteristics
  • Self-starter with ability to identify needs and areas of impact, as well as potential solutions
  • Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
