Repossession Coordinator

Department: Account Servicing
Location: Schofield, WI

Repossession Coordinator

In compliance with company policies and procedures, a Repossession Coordinator is responsible for submitting and monitoring repossessions through our 3rd party vendors while supporting collection efforts on delinquent consumer accounts within a Recreational portfolio of accounts and is responsible for helping to maintain the portfolio of accounts by providing clerical support on the accounts.

Essential Functions

  • Send out repossession related letters on accounts
  • Work with management to recommend accounts for repossession
  • Enter approved repossessions into our vendor website
  • Monitor each account online and enter in updates into the notes of account
  • Approve recommended floor prices for collateral for auction
  • Outbound and inbound phone call negotiations with the ability to approve payment plans with customers that have been submitted for repossession
  • Request titles and or UCC’s and/or all appropriate documentation
  • Ability to track all repossessions and results in excel spreadsheet
  • Ability to approve up to $500.00 in extra repo fees with vendor
  • Other tasks as assigned by leadership

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 6+ months of collection experience preferred
  • 6+ months of repossession related experience preferred
  • 1+ year of administrative or clerical experience preferred
  • No certifications or Licenses Required
  • Experience and proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Experience using telephone, fax, and computer
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with and ability to apply basic mathematical concepts

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
